We currently have an English-speaking congregation of 50, a Cantonese congregation of 150, and a Mandarin congregation of 20 in average Sunday attendance, with 30 to 40 children attending various ministries and programs during the week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Primary Duties and Responsibilities of the Positions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assists in organizing the running of a full day vacation bible school camp for ages 3 to 13 during the week of July 20-24, 2026,\n<ul>\n<li>Particular focus on planning, organizing and execution of the afternoon session program as the morning session has a fixed<br \/>\nprogram.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Getting familiarize with the morning program contents<\/li>\n<li>Working with the supervisor, mentors and other leaders to create project schedules and timelines for different aspects of the camp.<\/li>\n<li>Daily preparation work according to timelines leading and after the running of a vacation bible school may include:\n<ul>\n<li>Create and distribute physical or electronic promotional materials<\/li>\n<li>Organizing current materials and resources, purchasing materials that are needed within a set budget,<\/li>\n<li>Prepare materials into packages for the different stations of the morning camp.<\/li>\n<li>Work with the decoration team in designing and preparing the venue for the camp.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Assists in the planning of any additional post camp gathering<\/li>\n<li>Attend team meetings with other leaders part of the VBS planning team<\/li>\n<li>Administrative tasks may also include:\n<ul>\n<li>handling email correspondence,<\/li>\n<li>answering parents\u2019 inquiries,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Other tasks related to the planning, organizing, and running of the camp.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What you Bring:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be fluent in English; Cantonese or Mandarin are an asset.<\/li>\n<li>Has a passion to work with children and previous experience in organizing and working with children is an asset.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate an ability to maintain a positive attitude to working in a team environment with staff, youth and adult volunteers,<\/li>\n<li>Able to effectively communicate with campers and families.<\/li>\n<li>Able to accept instruction and carry out duties efficiently and joyfully in a team environment and capable to work independently on tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Must have experience in basic computer, multimedia and software operation, with a willingness to learn new skill sets.<\/li>\n<li>Skills in designing and creating artwork are an asset.<\/li>\n<li>Possess an authentic faith and walk with Jesus in line with the Global Anglican Communion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Canada Summer Jobs Eligibility Criteria for Applicants:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be Between 15 and 30 years old at the start of the position;<\/li>\n<li>Be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee<br \/>\nProtection Act;
