Profile Description:
The Anglican Network Church of the Good Shepherd has more than 135 years of history in Vancouver, Canada, serving the immigrant Chinese Canadian as well as local born Chinese Canadians. We are looking for an experienced Associate Priest to join our pastoral team and in particular, to assist our Rector in leading our staff and lay leaders in the various pastoral, nurturing and, most importantly, outreach ministries that traverse different people groups (i.e. age, language and culture). Vancouver is Canada’s gateway city to Asia and has welcomed many visitors and migrants from all over the world. The church is conveniently situated along the Broadway corridor near the Vancouver City Hall and is easily accessible by two major metro lines. We are also blessed with a church building that provides a platform to run our various ministries to reach out to those who are unchurched and to provide a spiritual home for those who yearn for a God-fearing and Bible-centered Christian community.
